The South Calgary Fire Station was designed to meet the City of Calgary's energy saving philosophy. The projected implemented energy saving strategies such as variable refrigerant flow (VRF), energy recovery ventilators, high efficiency condensing boilers and domestic hot water heated by use of solar panels.
